Alan Parker - Percussionist

Alan has been playing with trent connection since 1999.
He still has the same (live aid) kit, but it keeps sprouting lots of extra percussion, triangles and tambourines.

Mathew Carter - Bassist

Mathew has been playing for 16 years; since he was ten years old. He has a master’s in maths & an interest in classic cars. Mathew drives an HGV as a day job.

Lizzie Boulter - Vocalist

Lizzie studied Musical Theatre at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama after leaving school with Grade 8 singing. She has been singing in choirs and as a soloist for as long as she can remember, and can also play the violin. When she is not working in her day job, she loves to perform as much as she can in her local choir and drama society, as well as with Trent Connection.

Lindsey Smith - Baritone

Lindsey grew up in Stafford, where she played with the Staffordshire Youth Wind Orchestra. She arrived in Nottingham to study at the University, was one of the original members of the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra, and fell in love with the vibrant Nottingham saxophone scene. More recently she spent six years with the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain, appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe and in concerts throughout the UK. As a current member of the Equinox Saxophone Ensemble, Lindsey has performed at the three most recent World Saxophone Congresses in St Andrews, Strasbourg and Zagreb. Now based in Buckinghamshire, Lindsey combines her musical commitments with a career at The Open University. She has been a member of the Trent Connection Dance Band for 30 years.

Toni Galloni - Tenor/Alto Saxaphone

Toni is a Marketing Director in the day, so he feels playing Sax in the band is the polar opposite. He started playing when he was 6 yrs old and was lucky enough to have a music scholarship. Toni was brought up on a diet of 40’s and 50’s Big Band music (Glenn Miller; Ella Fitzgerald and The Dorsey Brothers), so he feels Trent Connection is perfect for him, plus he enjoys playing the newer stuff as well. He joined the band approximately 8 yrs ago and loves it, he enjoys playing with other great musicians as they're nice people, but above all has great fun.

Charlotte Zommers - Trombone

Be it marching, concert, swing or soul Charlotte (and her Trombone!) has played a variety of music & genres from a young age.
From local pub gigs, weddings, charity balls to touring France & playing on the Rhine in Germany her music has taken her near & far.
A particularly highlight was playing a gig compared by Jim Bowen from Bullseye! Other stand out music moments are playing in the pit for various musicals & a charity event where the music was set to fireworks!
Outside of music, Charlotte enjoys dancing ballroom and modern jive. Her quieter times are filled with stained glass design and swimming.

Emma Formam - Trumpet

Emma's been playing trumpet since she was 9. She studied music in Glasgow and later qualified as a Secondary Music Teacher. Emma enjoys the variety of music that she gets to play with Trent Connection which is always fun and full of energy.
